Sam Federman, Senior Contributing Writer
Sam Federman is a senior at Syracuse University majoring in Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism. He joined Daly Dose of Hoops in 2023-24 and covers UConn, the Big East, and national high-major programs for the website. He began covering college basketball independently in the 2021-2022 season in the New York City area and has since become the premier writer, insider, and analyst covering Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference basketball. He also writes for Mid-Major Madness, covering the MAAC and the northeast at large.
Federman has attended over 300 basketball games over the last three seasons, establishing himself as one of the top mid-major basketball sickos in the country. He is the host of Brackets, Bubbles, and Bid Stealers, a college basketball podcast with deep dive analysis in over 100 episodes per season. He also covers Syracuse basketball for Nunes Magician and contributes features and columns to Basket Under Review.
