Established in 2009 by Jaden Daly, A Daly Dose Of Hoops has blossomed from a site created as a contingency plan in case his broadcast career failed. It has ended up taking on a life of its own since then, and now employs between 10 and 15 writers over the course of each season.
Based in New York, the site’s coverage primarily focuses on the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area, but has gradually expanded over the years to add a southern bureau that covers the Big South and Southern Conferences from its North and South Carolina outposts, as well as Philadelphia and the Big 5. So even though the Big East, MAAC, Hofstra and Rutgers are some of the longstanding bases for the outlet, they are no longer the only places to whom we devote our attention.
